Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites function correctly, remember your preferences, and — where you have given consent — help us understand how our site is being used.

This policy explains what cookies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Notice at limitbreakers.co.uk/privacy-policy.

2. Who We Are

This Cookie Policy applies to the Limit Breakers Tutoring Ltd website (limitbreakers.co.uk) and the AcademicTrack parent and student dashboard. Both are operated by Limit Breakers Tutoring Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 12592302).

For questions about this policy, contact us at privacy@limitbreakers.co.uk.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We use only three categories of cookies. We do not use advertising, targeting, or marketing cookies. We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.

5. Children and Cookies

Our platform is used by children as part of the Limit Breakers tutoring programme. In line with the ICO's Children's Code (Age Appropriate Design Code), we apply the following principles:

  • We do not use advertising or targeting cookies on any part of our platform.
  • Analytics cookies are anonymised — no individual child is identified.
  • Strictly necessary cookies are limited to what is essential for secure platform operation.
  • Parental consent covers cookie use as part of the programme registration process.

6. How We Obtain Your Consent

When you first visit limitbreakers.co.uk, a cookie consent banner is displayed by CookieYes. You may accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customise your preferences.

Strictly necessary and consent management cookies do not require your consent as they are essential to the operation of the platform. All other cookies (Performance & Analytics) are only activated if you consent.

Your preferences are saved for 12 months. You can change them at any time — see Section 7.

7. Managing and Withdrawing Consent

You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website, or by adjusting your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in to AcademicTrack or using core features of the website.

8. Third-Party Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised data about how visitors use our website. Google Analytics cookies do not identify individual users. Data is processed by Google LLC under a Data Processing Agreement. You can learn more at google.com/policies/privacy.

We use CookieYes to manage your cookie consent preferences. CookieYes does not collect personal data beyond your consent choices. You can learn more at cookieyes.com/privacy-policy.

We do not permit any other third parties to set cookies on our platform.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, legal requirements, or our services. The latest version will always be available at limitbreakers.co.uk/cookie-policy. We will notify you of material changes via the cookie consent banner.
